Agriculture and Life Sciences, M.P.S. (Ithaca)

Program Description

The professional degree of Master of Professional Studies (Agriculture) is intended for those who want to further their training for practitioner-type work in agricultural technology and who do not intend to become involved in engineering design and research. In addition, the M.P.S. (Agriculture & Life Sciences) program has a Peace Corp option in which the student undertakes two semesters of academic work at Cornell and a Peace Corp assignment. Requirements Summary:

Applicants to the Master of Professional Studies program must have a baccalaureate degree (bachelor's degree) in agricultural technology or a related physical or biological sciences-oriented curriculum. Applicants are required to submit GRE general test scores (not required for Cornell students).

  • all Graduate School Requirements, including the TOEFL Exam for Non-Native English Applicants
  • M.P.S.(Agriculture & Life Sciences) -- two recommendations; resume; GRE general test (GREs not required for Cornell students)
