Join us to open the Art Exhibit of Christine McMeekin's work, which will be displayed through October 11th to November 7th.
Christine McMeekin is a PhD student in the math department at Cornell University studying number theory. As an artist, she was originally drawn to mathematics for its creative nature. Christine excelled in art from a young age, but quickly rejected realism as merely a demonstration of technical proficiency and moved to more abstract art. Throughout her time in graduate school, she has held numerous art exhibitions locally in Ithaca, NY....

Grad Write-Ins occur every weekday that class is in session, from 8:00-11:00am in the Big Red Barn. Come join other students who also have writing goals and deadlines. Be a part of a writing community so that you are able to become more productive and accountable with your time and your writing. The upstairs area of the Big Red Barn is a designated quiet space.
There will be cups for you at the register for FREE coffee and/or tea! Come for all or part of the time.

The Colman Leadership Program invites you to apply to be a part of the 25-30 PhD student co-hort who will participate in an intensive 4-day program focused on providing skills and knowledge to support their development as leaders in graduate school and beyond. Consideration will be given to applications from PhD students from all backgrounds (domestic and international).
Priority Applicant Consideration:
PhD students with Cornell Colman or Sloan Fellowships
Students in Year 3 or later of their PhD studies.
