Join the ASAP and BEST program to hear about the field of intellectual property. This will be a formal discussion panel featuring patent agents, examiners and attorneys who all started off in a STEM field (science PhDs) and eventually transitioned to patent law. We have a very promising and diverse panel setup, including Cornell’s Intellectual Property Professor Oskar Liivak who obtained his PhD in Physics from Cornell University and his JD from Yale University.
