Local CU-CIRTL Programs

CU-CIRTL offers a diverse range of both in-person and online workshops and networking opportunities for future faculty. Programming is aimed at graduate students and postdocs, although faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in learning communities on important topics in teaching, research, and mentoring. Programming is offered in partnership with the Center for Teaching Innovation (CTI), Office of Inclusion and Student Engagement (OISE), Office of Postdoctoral Studies, and the national CIRTL Network.

Low Engagement or Drop-In (1-2 hours/week)

  • Academic Job Search Series and job search discussions - in partnership with the Office of Postdoctoral Studies; summer, fall, spring
  • My Voice, My Story interactive theater program on graduate climate - in partnership with OISE

Institutes and Symposia

Since 2015, CU-CIRTL also offers both short-term and high-engagement activities enabling graduate students and postdocs to earn nationally recognized certificates at the level of CIRTL Associate, Practitioner, or Scholar.
