Big Red Barn
Grad Write-Ins occur every weekday that class is in session, from 8:00-11:00am in the Big Red Barn. Come join other students who also have writing goals and deadlines. Be a part of a writing community so that you are able to become more productive and accountable with your time and your writing. The upstairs area of the Big Red Barn is a designated quiet space.
There will be cups for you at the register for FREE coffee and/or tea! Come for all or part of the time.

The Office of Inclusion and Student Engagement, and the Center for Teaching Excellence are happy to announce a special lunch discussion for Cornell graduate students and postdocs with Dr. Beverly Tatum, a distinguished author, academic, and expert on the psychology of racism. We hope you can join us for what is sure to be a thought-provoking discussion preceding her public talk that evening!

Join Dr. Beverly Daniel Tatum, President Emerita, Spelman College, a nationally recognized authority on racial issues and the psychology of racism in America, in exploring racial stereotypes and cross-racial dialogue. *The first hundred to RSVP will receive a fully revised and updated copy of Dr. Tatum’s critically acclaimed book, Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria And Other Conversations About Race.

Join us to open the Art Exhibit of Laura Sinclair's work, which will be displayed through September 13th to October 8th.
Laura Sinclair is a PhD student in chemical engineering who enjoys painting in her free time. Her favorite media are watercolor, ink, and oil. She enjoys approaching familiar subject with a different angle, including exploring alternative colors and textures.
Wine & Cheese will be served during the opening.
