Instructors of biology lab courses grapple with unique challenges posed by incorporating range of hands-on and conceptual learning activities within a limited time-frame. Furthermore, the instructor’s creativity may be constrained by set procedures and outcomes prescribed by traditional “cook-book” labs and a lack of authority to alter the lab’s activities and assessments. In this interactive workshop, you will learn the process of converting your CV into a 2-page resume. More importantly, you will have an opportunity to get individual career advice to develop your resume that can survive a 30 second scan and move it into the YES pile!
This session is for doctoral students and postdocs in the field of Life Sciences. Please bring your CV or resume and laptop. We will help you convert yours!
