SUMMARY:BRB Book Club
DESCRIPTION:Our first book for the BRB Summer Book Club is “The Vegetarian” by Han Kang. Published in 2007\, this story follows Yeong-hye after she decides to stop eating meat and her husband and family try to take control of her life in response. Kang was awarded last year’s Nobel Prize in Literature and is the author of the first Korean language novel to win the International Booker Prize for fiction.
