SUMMARY:Using ImaginePhD to Explore Careers for Arts\, Humanities\, and Social Sciences Ph.D.s
DESCRIPTION:  \n \nThis interactive workshop introduces Ph.D. students in the arts\, humanities\, and social sciences to tools and strategies for exploring careers beyond tenure-track faculty positions. Participants will use ImaginePhD to reflect on their values\, interests\, and skills; identify potential career options; and learn how to translate academic experiences into language used in nonacademic job searches. The session emphasizes curiosity\, reflection\, and practical next steps. \nAs a result of attending this event\, students will: \n\nengage in activities to explore career paths and identify areas for further exploration\nreflect and align their interests\, values\, and skills to 1-2 career path(s).\nassess strengths and identify areas for growth relevant to their unique career goal(s).\n\nRead more about the career learning outcomes. \nWhere: Caldwell Hall\nFacilitator: MJ Mosereiff\, Assistant Director for Graduate Career Exploration\nThe Graduate School | Office of Career and Professional Development \nTo request accommodations or for inquiries about accessibility contact mm2478@cornell.edu.
