Our second book for the BRB Spring Book Club is “Cadillac Desert” by Marc Reisner. In this book, Reisner discusses the effects of land development and water policy on the American West. First published in 1986, “Cadillac Desert” has inspired climate fiction novels and brought attention to the distribution of the Colorado River’s limited water. We will discuss the Introduction, Chapter One, and Chapter Two for this book club. We are looking forward to an exciting discussion and will also give away a free physical copy of the book!
