“The spirit of Chaos” featuring works by Kayla Crosbie. Kayla Crosbie Illustrates the way mood affects our view of ourselves. Through punchy colors and whimsical line work, she paints difficult subjects like paranoia, anxiety, and grandiosity in a relatable and humorous way. She started out painting comics on these subjects and moved on to experimenting with watercolor on wood. Watercolors on primed wood flow freely and chaotically in a way that captures how emotions loosen the control and perfectionism we think we have in life.
