In Ithaca this summer and need to write?! 

The Graduate School Office of Inclusion & Student Engagement (OISE) is sponsoring a Graduate Diversity and Inclusion Writing Group this summer that will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. This is a peer facilitated writing group with a focus on providing a common space for a community of diverse scholars to write together on a regular basis.

The group will kick off with the development of individual summer writing plans. The group will then utilize progress charts as a tool for members to track their weekly writing progress. At the mid-point of the summer, the group will revisit their individual summer writing plans and make appropriate revisions responsive to progress and/or unanticipated challenges. The writing group will conclude with an off campus writing retreat, which will include a celebratory lunch.

Coffee and snacks will be provided every Tuesday and Thursday. Catered lunches will also be provided on all Tuesdays!

Space is limited to no more than 15-20 students!
