TechFix Thursday is your one-stop event for all your computer care needs! Join us on April 10th from 4–6 PM at the Big Red Barn for an exclusive, hands-on event hosted by Cornell Computer Reuse Association (CCRA) and the Big Red Barn Sustainability Fellow. Whether your computer is slowing you down, overheating, or simply in need of a little TLC, our team is ready to help with free consultations and smart recycling options.
At TechFix Thursday, we’ll be tackling:
- Computer Slowness & Software Troubleshooting: Get your device back in top shape.
- Overheating Solutions: We’ll clean your fans to help cool things down.
- Memory & Storage Upgrades: Bring your new memory or storage, or take advantage of a free consultation to choose the perfect upgrade for your compatible computer.
- Laptop Battery Replacement: (For laptops with modular batteries only) Bring your replacement battery or get expert advice on selecting one that fits.
- Software Upgrades: Enhance your system’s performance with the latest updates.
- Eco-Friendly Recycling and Donation: Bring your old tech—even if it’s just somewhat working! We’ll help give it a new life through responsible recycling or donation to the CCRA for reuse.
