CANCELED: Empowering Women in Science & Engineering (EWISE) Symposium

Cornell graduate students, postdocs, faculty and staff are invited to a day-long symposium about opportunities and challenges facing women in science and engineering. There will be opportunities for the Cornell community and others interested in networking, learning and brainstorming. 

Speakers include Nancy Wayne, professor of physiology and a member of the Brain Research Institute at UCLA, and Virginia Valian, distinguished professor at Hunter College and CUNY Graduate Center.

The symposium is sponsored by the Office of Faculty Development and Diversity, the Graduate School Office of Inclusion and Student Engagement, the Office of Diversity Programs in Engineering, Office of Postdoctoral Studies, and Future Faculty and Academic Careers. 

This event has been postponed until Spring 2021.
