A panel of individuals representing different types of industry careers will share their advice, pros and cons of working in this environment, and how they transitioned from academia. Come armed with your own questions which will be discussed throughout the session.
Confirmed panelists:
Chavez Carter, Cornell PhD ’14 Immunology & Infectious Disease, Microbiology & Immunology. Currently he is a Medical Science Liaison at LEO Pharma.
Gregory Ray, Cornell PhD ’14 in Molecular and Cell Biology. He subsequently got his MBA at the University of Toronto. He is currently Associate Director, NYC of Creative Destruction Labs at NYU Stern.
Kent Göklen, Cornell and MIT alumnus, BEST mentor and GSK’s Director of Downstream Process Development, in the biopharmaceutical business unit of GlaxoSmithKline in King of Prussia, PA.
