Words of Wisdom from Students (and Faculty Advisors)

August 25 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

  • This event has passed.

Do you have questions about what it is like being a Cornell graduate or professional student? Go directly to our graduate and professional students (along with faculty advisors) to hear their thoughts, comments, and advice for incoming students embarking on their graduate careers.

Join us to talk candidly about essential topics: successfully navigating roles and relationships with faculty; developing strategies to balance personal and academic life; maintaining health, wellness, and a supportive community; finding and using resources; and managing feelings of the impostor experience, time, and multiple projects and deadlines. The panel will present for 30 minutes and then turn it over to the audience to ask live questions.

This event is for incoming students. Registration for this event will be available through the Orientation Canvas website. Learn more about Orientation.
