April 8, 2019 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

  • This event has passed.

Communication is the foundation in every relationship that we have.  Come to learn more about your own communication style and preference, along with learning more about those around you.  Learn the difference between passive, passive-aggressive, aggressive and assertive communication styles.  Finally, determine how to best negotiate your needs in the different relationships that you have, whether that may be learning how to speak up, learning how to set limits or a combination.  It doesn’t matter if your relationship of focus is personal or professional, strengthening your ability to communicate can help every relationship flourish.

Presenter: Jessica Massaro, LCSW-R, Behavioral Health Consultant, Cornell Health
