October 11, 2019 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

  • This event has passed.

The GPSA Diversity and International Students Committee, in collaboration with the Graduate School Office of Inclusion and Student Engagement, and the Graduate and Professional Student Diversity Council, is excited to invite all students, faculty, and staff to the first event of the Building Allyship Series. We will be joined by Luca Maurer, a nationally recognized author and speaker on topics of inclusion and allyship and the founding Director of the Center for LGBT Education, Outreach, and Services at Ithaca College, to learn about and discuss the fundamentals of allyship. This session will provide us with an opportunity to understand what it means to be an ally and how to use your position as an ally to support and empower each other. Read more about Luca Maurer on the Ithaca College website.

Lunch served at 11:30 am.
