Grad Student Orientation Trivia Night

Join us for a special graduate student orientation trivia night at the Big Red Barn! There will be a special Cornell theme and fun prizes. No need to come with a team; we will match you up. And don’t forget to come to regularly scheduled trivia on Wednesday nights at 7PM! All new grad students are invited, and no previous experience is needed.

Come gather at the Big Red Barn, meet fellow new graduate students, and get to know people from programs across Cornell’s campus. Open to new graduate students only. Sponsored by the Big Red Barn Social Fellow. Light snacks will be provided.

New Student New Languages Mixer

Thursday, September 5, 5:30 p.m. – No registration required; just attend

Meet fellow new students, learn new languages through informal social conversations, and bond over shared or foreign cultures. It is preferable if you know a bit of a language besides English, but just come with a desire to meet new people and step a little outside your comfort zone. We will pair everyone into teams upon arrival. Light snacks and drinks will be available.
