Laura Simmons-Stern is a professional student in global development from Needham, Massachusetts. Having earned her bachelor’s degree at Connecticut College and volunteered in the Peace Corps, she chose to pursue a Cornell M.P.S. degree to learn valuable skills for her career in a condensed amount of time, allowing her to continue making a difference. While completing her program, she is also currently working as a Peace Corps Recruiter for Cornell.

Winter Overnight and Student Winter Break Parking
Cornell’s winter overnight parking rules are in effect Dec. 1 to April 1, whenever snow is in the forecast. Please visit the winter and break parking website for parking options for students who may be leaving their vehicle on campus during the winter break. Please note that the City of Ithaca has revised their odd-even parking restrictions. To stay apprised of changes to parking, transit, and traffic circulation, visit CUinfo. Questions about parking and transportation options can be directed to transportation.
Campus-to Campus Schedule Changes
Beginning Jan. 1, the Campus-to-Campus express bus service will have new departure times from New York City stop locations. Please refer to your confirmation email and note your departure time. You can book seats at the C2C website or via the C2C Facebook page. The bus service operates seven days a week, and students receive a discount when using their Cornell NetID.
