Dining:

One of Cornell Dining’s 23 restaurant locations, the Big Red Barn serves soups, salads, sandwiches, coffee, and pastries.  Relax outdoors at our new picnic tables in the warm weather or sit by the fireplace on our comfortable lounge furniture. Whatever the season, this is a great place to take a break and relax from your studies.

Building hours during the academic year: 

Monday – Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

*By reservation only: Friday after 8:00 p.m. – Sunday*

Dining hours during the academic year:

Breakfast: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Lunch: Monday – Friday, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Snack Service during the academic year:

Snack service run by the Barn staff (grab ‘n’ go sandwiches and salads, coffee, drinks, and beer – cash only): Monday – Thursday, 2:00 p.m. – 10 p.m.; Friday, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Weekly TGIF (free snacks, beer, cider, and wine sold): Friday, 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Payment:

Big Red Bucks, CornellCard, cash, and major credit cards are accepted during dining hours. 

Cash, credit cards, google pay, and apple wallet are accepted during snack service.
